What we believe

At Redeemer we believe Jesus is the most important person in the world, because we believe that Jesus isn’t just a good teacher, rather he shows us perfectly who God is and what it is he has done for us as humans. We also believe that the Bible which talks about God’s plan for the earth through the sending of his Son, is true and reliable and has everything to say about who we are as people and how we can enjoy living real, purposeful lives as we are invited to get to know God personally.

That means the most important thing we can do at Redeemer is to preach the Bible faithfully and invite other people to look at it with us.

So we at Redeemer want to follow Jesus and speak of the good news about him to everyone we know. To do this, Redeemer holds to four aims that make up the DNA of the church family. To the glory of God we desire to:

We hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith as a subordinate standard of doctrine - click here for an online version.
